The xDW-S-4C digital optical converters are universally applicable for extending the RS485/422 bus over single-mode or multimode optical fibers. In addition, they allow a single digital contact to be transmitted over the same fiber in both directions.

The devices are developed and manufactured in the EU and meet NDAA requirements.

Are the xDW-S-4C converters compatible with the ESSERNET bus ?

Yes, they are. We tested compatibility on ESSER IQ8000 C/M EPS control panels.

Are the xDW-S-4C converters compatible with the RS485 bus of JABLOTRON JA-106 control panels?

Yes, they are. We tested compatibility in March 2019 on the JA-106KR-3G control panel.

Can these converters also be used for older types of DSC POWER control panels?

No, they can't. For older types of DSC POWER control panels, we recommend using xDW-S-PDS, which are compatible with the DSC POWER control panel.
