Balanced alarm loops

The digital inputs of IPLOG switches and monitoring units can be switched to ALARM mode to support balanced loops used in alarm systems.

These are essentially analogue inputs with variable loop connected resistance in the range 0....30kΩ. The way the loops are balanced, and the resistance corresponding to each state can be easily set in SIMULand.
