PCB design and assembly

The METEL brand name on the device means, among other things, that it is a product developed and manufactured in the Czech Republic. 100% of the same applies to drawing schematics and designing circuit boards. Our specialists use the Altium Designer program for these purposes, which integrates most of the activities related to the design of schematics, mechanics and printed circuit boards. In addition, a sophisticated library system allows the development team to use Altium designer for the registration of the material used, including its documentation.

The strategy of custom schematic and PCB design also applies to the demanding design of up to ten-layer CPU module boards with BGA enclosures. The resulting hardware is thus 100% under our control and, thanks to our perfect knowledge of it, we are able to guarantee its correct function and safety.

Printed circuit boards of prototypes and final serial products are assembled in partner companies in the Czech Republic with ISO 9001 certification and meeting IPC, JEDEC, ISO and CSN standards. All key materials for assembly are supplied from our own warehouse. The partner company always supplies only passive SMD resistors and capacitors. The assembled PCBs are then subjected to optical inspection, X-ray inspection (PCBs with BGA housings) and other checks, packaged and transported for final testing in our production facility.
