Volkswagen production plants

Hundreds of our devices are installed in Volkswagen production plants in Mladá Boleslav (CZ), Kvasiny (CZ), Vrchlabí (CZ) and Poznan (PL). Their deliveries were part of a number of separate projects.

In these projects they were used:

• twist converters
• optical converters
• industrial switches

Our optical video + data converters are used in our production plant in Nosovice.

Škoda Auto

Production plants with more than 30,000 employees upgraded Wiegand ACS readers to face scanners. METEL PLC links these systems to help detect people with incorrect access chips, which may be borrowed from colleagues or stolen.
