That is why we fully support and strictly comply with Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, known as REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals).
What does REACH mean for us and for you?
REACH aims to ensure a high level of protection of human health and the environment from the risks that chemicals can pose. As a responsible market partner, we guarantee that all the products we supply:
- Are fully compliant with EU legislation: we actively monitor updates to REACH and ensure that all substances contained in our products are properly registered and approved for their respective uses.
- Safety first: We regularly monitor the so-called List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) issued by the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). Our aim is to minimise or eliminate the use of these substances in our portfolio.
- Transparency and information: we provide our customers with complete and up-to-date safety information.
Our role in the supply chain
In terms of REACH, METEL s.r.o. acts primarily as a downstream user.
We work closely with our suppliers and customers to ensure an uninterrupted flow of information throughout the supply chain. We regularly check that our subcontractors are fulfilling their REACH obligations, which enables us to guarantee the stability and safety of our supply.
