The 2G Series industrial media converters are designed for reliable conversion from 10/100/1000 BaseT(x) metallic Ethernet to 1000Base-SX/LX/BX optical fiber. The converters support the transmission of jumbo frames of more than 10k bytes. All models are designed for use in the harshest environments with an extended operating temperature range of -40 to 70°C. In addition, all ports are surge protected. PoE models provide up to 30W PoE for end devices with the ability to configure automatic PoE restart in the event of end device PoE unavailability.
The devices are developed and manufactured in the EU and are NDAA compliant.
