Ethernet events

The Event Manager allows you to configure events across devices.
Simply send an event with an ETH ID to the network, configure this event to be received on another switch, and select the desired output action.

The output could be, for example:

  • a digital or analogue output from a METEL device available on the network
  • a digital or analogue output from a Modbus device available on the network

Example of an event: in the event of a SABOTAGE status on IN 1, remote relay output 1 will be activated.

Up to 999 ETH events can be transmitted within a single network.

The switch allows 64 ETH events to be configured.
