Transport infrastructure

Prague Airport

More than 1,200 pieces of BREAK-OK corrective galvanic isolators have been installed at Prague-Ruzyně Airport.

Bratislava Airport

In the security system of M.R.Š. Bratislava airport security system, our optical transducers are installed.

METRO Prague

During the reconstruction of the metro in 2006 we supplied e.g.

Video hubs

Central synchronization modulators and demodulators
Video signal loss detectors for more than 200 CCTV cameras.

Azerbaijani highway

The highway monitoring system in a hot semi-desert environment is based on a circular topology of LAN-RING industrial switches.

Prague - Hradec Kralove motorway

The highway monitoring system is based on a circular LAN-RING topology. Industrial switches with increased optical power and a range of up to 60 km were used in the installation.

Southern motorway ring of Prague

The motorway monitoring system including the motorway tunnels is based on a circular topology of industrial LAN-RING switches.

Prague Metro

The Prague Metro carries approximately 600 million passengers annually and is the chosen mode of public transport in Prague by approximately 40% of people. The Prague Metro is fast, efficient, clean and easy to use. Its three lines consist of approximately 60 km of mostly underground lines and 57 stations. Particularly after 11 September, the company has placed emphasis on improving security in the stations. Based on their requirements, we have developed special digital video hubs and a system for synchronising and transmitting images and data over a single coaxial cable. This equipment has been supplied to more than 300 cameras.

Prague Metro

The railway stations in the Czech and Slovak Republic date back to the 1990s and we are constantly improving their camera systems. Over the years, we have supplied hundreds of twisted pair converters, optical converters and, in recent years, industrial IP systems. The main benefits with these systems are the integrated surge protection on all ports and the warranty terms extended to the ALL INCLUSIVE version (covering damage to equipment caused by surges).

Rail transport in Malaysia

Our Malaysian partner participated in a tender for the supply of fast Ethernet protectors for more than 1,200 Ethernet ports. The customer had very specific requirements. As Malaysia is located in a tropical climate zone with extreme storms, the surge protectors must be able to withstand surge pulses of up to 10,000 A! We have modified the standard OVP-100M series surge protector to meet this requirement. In 2014-15, we delivered the required 1,200 SPDs.

RAIL HUB terminal in BUDAPEST

  • We participated in the project to secure the new rail container hub in Budapest.
  • The network infrastructure is based on LAN-RING managed switches to which IP cameras and audio elements from AXIS are connected.

Level crossings on Polish railways

Level crossings in Poland are very dangerous. Accidents involving trains and cars are very common. In order to increase safety at level crossings, they decided to install optical communication, video and audio systems at the most dangerous level crossings. In line with their requirements, we developed a digital WDM system that provides secure two-way audio communication between the nearest railway station and the dangerous level crossings. To date, the above equipment has been installed at more than 50 level crossings.

D11 motorway 85 km from Prague

The D11 motorway is part of the European route E67 "Via Baltica" from Prague in the Czech Republic to Helsinki in Finland. In 2011, we won a tender to supply industrial switches and IO modules for the 85 km long section. The switches are part of the motorway surveillance system used by emergency systems.

Azerbaijan motorway

Our industrial switches feature a wide operating temperature range without the need for active cooling. The components used have a minimum temperature range of -40 to +85C °C. This helped us to win the tender for a surveillance system on a highway in Azerbaijan. More than 50 switches are installed in a very hot subtropical environment.

Air transport in Georgia

Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport is the main international airport in Georgia. In 2016, we supplied outdoor backup boxes with 2G-2S.0.3.FC-BOX industrial switches. Our fiber optic circuit is used as a data path for IP cameras and perimeter system.

Air transport in the Czech Republic

Václav Havel International Airport in Prague is a public international airport located on the northwestern outskirts of Prague. Probably the largest project we have been involved in was the protection of server rooms with DVR for more than 1200 cameras. The problems that needed to be solved were many, not just ground loops. The cameras were installed at great distances, causing signal distortion, and cables coming from outside that led to surges in our server rooms. Therefore, we used BREAK-OK series galvanic isolators containing 3-band frequency correction and surge protection up to 1000 A.
