Ports and Interfaces Overview

Available ports (LAN-RING switches)

The table provides an overview of all interfaces available on LAN-RING switches with recent changes highlighted in yellow.

If you set the 100-megabit Ethernet port to 10-megabit, we now guarantee a minimum range of 200 meters including PoE.

For some models with gigabit ports, we have added support for PoE power up to 95 watts.

Over the past year, we have significantly expanded our portfolio of switches with ten-gigabit backbone ports. And last but not least, it is important to highlight the ongoing certification of alarm inputs of selected F models according to EN 50131-1 for alarm control panels.

The typical application in this case is the transmission of switchboard tamper directly to alarm systems or superstructures.

Available ports (IPLOG unit)

The table provides an overview of all interfaces available on IPLOG units and IO modules.

IPLOGs extend the LAN-RING system with automation and security functions.

Typical examples are control of photovoltaic power plants, Open VPN client, radius server, etc. The stand-alone IO modules communicate with PLCs via RS485 interface with MODBUS RTU and are universally applicable to PLCs, IPLOGs and LAN-RING switches.
