Outdoor Cabinets in Harsh Environments

According to EN 62305, the outdoor environment belongs to the LPZ0 zone, which is divided into:

LPZ 0A is fully exposed to direct lightning strikes.

LPZ 0B is not exposed to direct lightning strikes but is still exposed to the full electromagnetic field caused by lightning activity in the surroundings.

We recommend that our equipment is always installed in the LPZ0B zone in OH series enclosures with A12 internal protection.

METEL's compact solution for harsh environments includes a five-year warranty for outdoor installations in LPZ0B zones according to EN 62305.

Built-in internal protection eliminates the need for additional FE port protection.

Pull-out modules make measuring the insulation status of surge protection significantly easier and faster. This eliminates the need for the service technician to disconnect the entire system to perform the measurement, simplifying maintenance and minimizing equipment downtime.
