The context of the solution

MND (Moravian Oil Mines) operates an extensive network of production sites across South Moravia, which are characterised by the production of high quality crude oil. From a security perspective, these sites present a specific challenge: they are located in remote areas, but are also relatively easy to access for unauthorised persons.

With the advent of IP technologies, we initiated the development of a unique solution that integrates the following into one redundant unit:

  • Perimeter protection (detection of intrusion into the boundaries of the facility),

  • Intelligent camera systems (visual verification and analysis),

  • Alarm security systems (immediate transmission of critical events).

This integrated approach enables efficient central management and rapid response to incidents even in geographically dispersed terrain.

Solution description

The deployment of IPLOG units in security applications integrating IP CCTV and perimeter systems (PIDS) delivers comprehensive automation and surveillance. Key functional features of the solution include:

  • PIDS integration - Direct reading of alarm conditions from perimeter intrusion detection systems.
  • PTZ and Event Control - Automated control of camera points via standardized ONVIF commands.
  • Interfacing with EZS/PZTS - Transmission of alarm information to higher-level systems via relay or resistance-balanced outputs.
  • Remote management and connectivity - Provide redundant access and system monitoring via LTE interface.
