Event management

The software package of the LAN-RING industrial switches includes a set of event management tools in the Extension menu. In this menu, the user can set up to 64 automatic actions. The switch's event management is also able to communicate directly with the IPLOG PLC, which runs a control program written in the FBD, LD, ST or IL language described in IEC 61131-3. Event management therefore has the potential to significantly increase the utility value of your system and adapt the system to customer requirements.

A unique set of tools in the EXTENSION menu of LAN-RING switches allows you to set up a variety of automatic actions independent of external software. The table below provides an overview of the supported inputs and outputs that can be used to set up automatic actions.
