Climate tests

LAN-RING and IPLOG technologies can be found, for example, in:

• in the freezing wastes of Siberian
• temperate zone of Central Europe
• the humid Malaysian jungle
• in the hot desert regions of the Middle East

This places extreme demands on resistance to various weather conditions. All components and materials used therefore have a minimum operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C. However, the resulting operating temperature range of the device is always negatively affected by the heating of the device. Possible condensation of moisture on their surface and other phenomena can also be a problem. To thoroughly test the behaviour of the equipment in different conditions, we use a climate chamber with adjustable temperature and humidity. Typical tests are:

• ČSN EN 60068-2-30 Testing with moist cyclic heat
• ČSN EN 60068-2-38 Composite temperature and humidity cycling test
