The context of the solution

Natural gas distribution
ItalGas operates a number of remote sites equipped with natural gas distribution technologies. Our Italian partner, Sicurit Alarmitalia, has successfully deployed IPLOG units at these sites integrating IP CCTV systems with their ABSOLUTE PRO perimeter protection. In addition, the IPLOGs provide reliable remote connectivity via a wireless LTE network.

Oil production
Moravské naftové doly, has long relied on IPLOG-DELTA units to integrate perimeter systems with IP CCTV in its oil fields. This functionality was subsequently added to the IPLOG-GAMA PLC series.

Solution description

The deployment of IPLOG units in security applications integrating IP CCTV and perimeter systems (PIDS) brings comprehensive automation and surveillance. Key functional features of the solution include:

  • PIDS integration: direct reading of alarm conditions from perimeter intrusion detection systems.
  • PTZ and Event Control: Automated control of camera points via standardized ONVIF commands.
  • Interfacing with EZS/PZTS: Transmission of alarm information to higher-level systems via relay or resistance-balanced outputs.
