In 2024, we successfully recertified switches and converters according to EN 50131-1.
This certification confirms their compatibility and safety when used in ASSET, GALAXY and MB-SECURE systems. Thanks to this process, our devices meet the highest security requirements and can be deployed in environments where reliability and protection of the network infrastructure is crucial.

The switches can use only one RS485 bus for transmission over the LAN, ensuring stable and efficient communication.
✔ A maximum of 30 switches per ring is recommended to maintain optimal throughput and data transfer rates.
✔ The maximum distance of optical fiber for single-mode reaches up to 20 km, which allows large-scale networks to be connected with high reliability.
With these recommendations, efficient RS485 bus extension can be ensured, minimizing latency and maximizing network stability when transmitting data over the LAN.

If multiple RS485 buses are required, miniLAN-4B2 converters can be used, which have two independent RS485 buses.
These buses can be effectively used for system buses in security systems, enabling safe and reliable data transmission in complex installations.

Our range includes suitable outdoor enclosure types that meet the requirements for RS485 transmission in accordance with EN 50131-1.
These enclosures are designed to provide reliable protection for the network infrastructure and ensure safe operation of the RS485 bus even in harsh outdoor conditions. Their rugged construction and certification make them ideal for use in security systems and other critical applications.

In 2024, we successfully certified alarm inputs on switches and alarm outputs on IPLOG PLCs to EN 50131-1.
This certification confirms that our devices meet stringent safety requirements and are suitable for use in alarm systems. As a result, alarm inputs and outputs can be deployed in environments where reliability and a high level of security are key.
